Mumbai (formerly Bombay) with HP

Our Dutch friend Hans-Peter arrived on the day of the Holi festival when people paint and splash each other with coloured water.

After some sightseeing in Hyderabad, we flew to Mumbai (above: the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus).

Goa again

This time with Douwe's parents.

And dolphins. (There's a baby dolphin in the middle.)

Benaulim Beach

The shells are perfect: pretty to look at but so small and yielding that they don't hurt your bare feet.

Sandpiper (not sure which kind)

Benaulim beach babes

Evening stroll with buffalo.

This buffalo preferred to enjoy the water without a leash and made a dash for it.

Sweet freedom

These fish weren't so lucky.
